Matt Savage
MATT SAVAGE, officially an "autistic savant" whose musical genius was recognized by Dave Brubeck when Matt was 8 years old, has now grown into a high-functioning adult who received his Master's degree from the Manhattan School of Music last year on his 23rd birthday. A pianist and composer of the highest rank, Matt has headlined at the New Orleans and Ottawa Jazz Festivals as well as the Kennedy Center and legendary NYC clubs Birdland, Jazz Standard, the Blue Note, and Iridium – and any Jazz musician would love to have his resume of radio and TV appearances: NPR's All Things Considered and Piano Jazz with Marian McPartland, the Today Show, Late Night with Conan O'Brien, and the Late Show with David Letterman.

After Matt's Letterman appearance, HOT TICKET: Live in Boston, rose to #2 on the Amazon sales chart of live Jazz CDs, behind only Keith Jarrett!  Matt's next CD, to be released in October 2016, will be his first ever solo recording: Matt Savage: Piano Voyages, and I already have a number of solo gigs on the books for him in 2016-17.
