A drummer/composer/bandleader in the style of her late mentor Tony Williams.  The power and dexterity she brings to the drum kit shatters any sexual stereotypes about female instrumentalists.  The past several years Cindy has spent most of her time on the road with husband Carlos Santana, but Santana has a lighter touring schedule in 2024, which means that Cindy has a lot of availability to play with her own powerhouse jazz-rock group featuring guitarists Aurelien Budynek &/or David Gilmore, along with Zaccai Curtis or Marc Cary on keyboards, either Santana bandmate Benny Reitveld or Felix Pastorius (Jaco’s son and winner of the Downbeat Rising Star Poll) on electric bass, and the newest member of the group, wunderkind Emilio Modeste on sax.   Get in touch and let’s treat your audience to an evening with a superb band led by one of the most dynamic performers in creative music.
